Privacy Policies

The Skeptic is a party game playable offline or with online multiplayer. Offline play runs entirely on your device and does not connect to any server, collect any personal information, or transmit any data anywhere. Online multiplayer (Host, Join, and Streamer modes) connects to our game server to sync gameplay between devices — see Online Multiplayer below for details.

Offline play: None. Player names you enter exist only in memory for the duration of the session and are never saved to disk or sent anywhere.

When you use Host, Join, or Streamer mode, the app connects to our game server to keep players in sync. We temporarily process the name you enter, room codes, and game state (roles, votes, and scores) for the duration of the session. This data is not stored permanently after the session ends, not sold, and not shared with third parties.

Vibration — haptic feedback during gameplay. No data collected.

Wake Lock — keeps screen on during the discussion timer. No data collected.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions — handled entirely by Google Play / Apple App Store. We never see or store payment information.
